§ Mr. Iain MacleodThe missing volumes contained notes by Public Notaries recording details of deeds executed by them in relation to immovable property and other matters. Duplicate volumes are available. In the course of their investigations the police discovered torn pieces of the missing volumes near the sea and it has been presumed that they were destroyed.
