§ 76. Mr. Russellasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will replace the school crossing patrol which operated until recently in Harrow Road, Wembley, at the junction of May-bank Avenue and Elms Lane.
§ Mr. RentonIt rests with the Commissioner of Police, who is the school crossing authority for the Metropolitan Police District, to decide where to station the patrols he has available. He tells me that it is not possible to station a patrol at this particular crossing at present, but that it is covered by a police officer as often as possible.
