§ Mr. BevinsMy engineers are studying these questions closely in consultation with the other interests concerned. I hope that the experimental tests of satellite communications planned to start next year in co-operation with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration of the United States will include test transmissions of television signals. It is, however, too early to make a statement on the future of inter-continental television transmissions by cable or by satellites and on their relative cost.
