§ 96. Mr. Warbeyasked the Lord Privy Seal if he will propose to the forthcoming conference of Western Foreign Ministers that negotiations on Germany be re-opened with the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, Poland and Czechoslovakia on the basis of the mutual acceptance of a partially demilitarised zone in Central Europe as the essential pre-condition of any political settlement.
