§ Mr. MarplesNo. The vehicle-actuated signals we now install adjust themselves much more quickly to the flow of traffic. They can be coordinated with one another, as is the case in the Tottenham Court Road-Gower Street area. With the Road Research Laboratory I am investigating the possibility of other forms of area control in order to achieve even better results.
