asked the Postmaster-General if he is aware of the poor quality of television reception in the Helensburgh area; and what remedy is proposed to rectify this.

Yes. The B.B.C. tells my right hon. Friend that it will be considering whether anything can be done to improve television reception in the Helensburgh area when it plans later stages of its satellite station scheme.

The I.T.A. too, knows that reception is difficult in Helensburgh and will bear its needs in mind in future planning.
