HL Deb 24 July 1961 vol 233 cc903-4WA
LORD MANCROFT

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether the attitude of the London County Council towards the Holford plan for the redevelopment of the area round St. Paul's will bring about any change in the Government's own policy in respect of the plan.

EARL JELLICOE

I am informed that the London County Council have taken no new decision on Sir William Holford's proposals for the St. Paul's precinct. Their acceptance of the principles of those proposals is embodied in the written statement of policy which is now part of the London development plan.
