§ Mr. Arbuthnotasked the President of the Board of Trade, in view of the interim arrangements to continue preference for the products of the Southern Cameroons till the end of September, 1962, what plans he has for dealing with this matter after this date.
§ Mr. MaudlingThe intention is that preferences will continue until the 30th September, 1962, in order to provide time to consider what further arrangements should be made. I cannot therefore say at this stage whether preferences would be continued or what arrangements will be necessary after 30th September, 1962.
