§ The Prime MinisterAs was recorded in the joint communiqué, President Kennedy and I discussed this question when he was here in June. We are in continuous touch with the United States Government about it through the 169W diplomatic channel. As I have informed the House before, these discussions are confidential and it would not be in the public interest for me to make a detailed statement about them.
