HC Deb 04 July 1961 vol 643 c100W
50. Mr. G. Brown

asked the Prime Minister whether, in view of the decision of the United Nations to inquire into the situation in Angola and in view of Her Majesty's Government's commitments to Portugal within the framework of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation, he will take steps to ensure that courtesy visits to Portugal by Her Majesty's ships or armed forces are made only after consultation between all the Ministers concerned.

The Prime Minister

I feel sure that all concerned are aware of the need for such consultation.
