asked the President of the Board of Trade how many new industries and extensions to existing industries are expected in the Blyth, Bedlington and Seaton Valley areas in the next six months.

Mr. Maudling

Five extensions, to provide about 600 new jobs, are expected. Some of these firms should start recruiting in the next six months.
