HC Deb 04 July 1961 vol 643 c95W
33. Sir C. Osborne

asked the President of the Board of Trade, following his opening the Piccadilly Circus advertisement about the need for greater exports, what action he is taking to stimulate the interest of workers in increasing their output for export; since it is the directors and not the workers who decide whether goods shall go into the home or the export markets, whether he will take urgent action to assist employers and trade unions in their efforts to increase the United Kingdom's export
