§ Mr. BrookeAbout 200 cases are waiting to be heard, and the average waiting time, from the day the application is made until the decision is given, is about seven weeks. Since 1st May the tribunal has heard all its Barking cases at Barking Town Hall.

§ Mr. BrookeThe Barking Tribunal and the Islington Tribunal were amalgamated on 1st May, but I do not propose to close the Barking Road office until a suitable and conveniently situated office can be found to serve the whole of the tribunal's area. The office is open to give information and receive references to the tribunal on any matter within their jurisdiction, but the new tribunal has not yet used it for hearings.
