§ Mr. SoamesDrift net fishing for salmon inside territorial waters off England and Wales is controlled by licences issued by river boards. The new problem of drift netting for salmon outside territorial waters is being urgently examined by my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Scotland and myself and an announcement will be made as soon as possible.
