§ 52. Mr. Shortasked the Minister of Aviation whether his attention has been called to the congestion in the terminal buildings at Newcastle-upon-Tyne Airport; and when he will announce his decision regarding the amount of financial assistance towards new buildings.
§ Mr. RipponMy right hon. Friend has been informed by the Newcastle Corporation of the inadequacy of the terminal building at the airport. As for a Government grant towards the cost of a new building, I regret that I cannot at present add to the reply given on 6th March to the hon. Member for Newcastle - upon - Tyne, West (Mr. Popplewell).
