§ Mr. AlportIn Basutoland there is one doctor per 21,300 people and there are six vacancies for doctors in the Government Medical Service; in the Bechuanaland Protectorate there is one doctor per 14,500 people, and two vacancies; in Swaziland there is one doctor per 8,900 people, and no vacancies.
