HC Deb 26 January 1961 vol 633 c48W
79. Sir R. Pilkington

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what arrangements he is making to reduce the delays and formalities experienced by foreigners entering this country.

Mr. R. A. Butler

The immigration control does not involve any appreciable delay forbona fide foreign tourists and business visitors, and I have no proposals to make at the moment for changes in the control arrangements.
