Edwardsasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food whether his attention has been drawn to a scheme organised by the Egg Marketing Board on behalf of the manufacturers I of a cake mix which gives a free egg with every packet of their product; and to what extent he was consulted before the Egg Marketing Board gave official support and preference to a particular manufacturer.
§ Mr. SoamesI do know of the scheme to which the hon. Member refers. I was not consulted beforehand about these arrangements which are a domestic matter for the British Egg Marketing Board.
