§ 83. Mr. Callaghanasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs if he will make a further statement on the progress of the measures taken by Messrs. Guest Keen Iron and Steel Co., Cardiff, to lessen the nuisance caused by deposits of grit and dust in the neighbourhood of the works.
§ Mr. BrookeA good deal has been done and more will be done to lessen the difficulties in the neighbourhood of these works. As the technical processes involved are complicated I am writing to the hon. Member explaining what is afoot.
