HC Deb 21 February 1961 vol 635 c33W
77. Sir T. Moore

asked the Minister of Works if he is aware of the unsatisfactory condition of the memorial to the 24th Regiment standing in the grounds of the Royal Hospital; and if he will take early steps to make that monument to the officers, non-commissioned officers and men of that regiment worthy of the sacrifice they made at Chellianwalla on 13th January, 1849.

Lord John Hope

I am aware that some maintenance work needs to be done and this will be put in hand early this summer.
