§ 91. Mr. Dempseyasked the Secretary of State for Scotland when the Baillieston-Newhouse section of the A.8 Glasgow-Edinburgh road improvement scheme is due to start; when he expects it to be completed; what is the nature of the improvement; and what is the estimated cost.
§ Mr. MaclayMy intention is that work should start this summer on a two year scheme costing about£1 million. It will provide dual carriageways between these two points—and will incorporate flyovers at the main junctions.
