§ Sir F. Markhamasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer when the Treasury Working Group on Ancient Monuments and Historic Buildings was appointed; how many meetings it has held; how its inquiries are proceeding; and when a report may be expected.
§ Mr. Selwyn LloydThe Working Group was formally constituted in November, 1960, and is meeting regularly. Its business is proceeding satisfactorily but I cannot at this stage say when its work will be completed. I know that my hon. Friend the Financial Secretary intends it to be completed as speedily as possible.
