asked the Minister of Aviation when he expects to be in a position to announce the name of the new chairman of the Air Transport Licensing Board.

Mr. Thorneycroft

I cannot say but I intend that there shall be no needless delay.

69. Mr. C. Johnson

asked the Minister of Aviation when he expects the Air Transport Licensing Board to start considering applications for air service licences.

Mr. Thorneycroft

I understand that the Board has already started to consider applications for air service licences, and expects to hold its first hearings during March.4
