asked the Secretary of State for Commonwealth Relations how many officials of his Department have served in the High Commissioner's Office in the Federation of Rhodesia and Nyasaland; how many of these are now employed in dealing with the affairs of the Federation; and in what ranks they are serving.

Mr. Sandys:

Two Assistant Secretaries serving at present in the Commonwealth Relations Office in London and employed on work partly concerned with the affairs of the Federation of Rhodesia and Nyasaland, have previously served in the Federation.
