HC Deb 15 February 1961 vol 634 c147W
46. Sir A. Hurd

asked the Secretary of State for War what will be the future use of the ordnance depot at Thatcham.

Mr. Profumo:

No decision has yet been taken on the use of Thatcham after April, 1964, but I am considering the possibility of using it as a command ordnance depot after it ceases to be required in its present rô le. I will keep my hon. Friend informed of developments, and I can assure him that adequate notice will be given to the employees.
