§ 81. Mr. McInnesasked the Minister of Power if he is aware of the dissatisfaction regarding the poor quality of smokeless fuels being provided in smoke control areas in Glasgow; and if he will have investigations made with a view to an improvement being effected.
§ Mr. George:The solid smokeless fuel being supplied in Glasgow is almost entirely "Gloco". I am assured by the Scottish Gas Board that its quality is fully in accordance with the appropriate British Standard specification, but that they will be glad to investigate any case of dissatisfaction.
