63. Mr. Marquand

asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs when he will give his decision on the application of the county borough of Middlesbrough for authority to clear the slums in the Granville Street area, about which a public inquiry was held in October, 1960.

Mr. Brooke:

My decision on the Middlesbrough (Granville Street) Compulsory Purchase Order, 1960, was issued yesterday. I have sent a copy of my decision letter to the right hon. Member.
