HC Deb 14 February 1961 vol 634 cc138-9W
Mr. Houghton

asked the Minister of Pensions and National Insurance when he expects to receive the report of the National Insurance Advisory Committee on the matter referred to them relating to the additions to retirement pension in the case of husbands who postpone retirement while their wives are under 60 years of age.

Mr. Boyd-Carpenter:

The National Insurance Advisory Committee have had this complex matter before them at three meetings, and it is due to come before them again in March. I have, of course, no idea as to when I shall receive a Report from them.
