§ Mr. Swinglerasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs if, in view of the urgent need for slum clearance and re-development in this area of Newcastle-under-Lyme, he will now grant loan sanction to the Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council for the Thistleberry scheme.
§ Mr. Brooke:A decision will be given at the earliest possible moment. I am writing to the hon. Member to explain why it has not yet been possible to do so.
