§ 74. Mr. Pagetasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether, in view of the new evidence relating to the Evans case, details of which have been sent to him by the hon. Member for Northampton, he will now grant permission for the remains of Timothy John Evans to be removed from prison and reinterred in consecrated ground in accordance with the rites of the Roman Catholic Church.
§ 77. Mr. Grimondasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether, in view of the facts which have now come to light, he will recommend the granting of a free pardon to Timothy Evans and return his remains to hic family.
