asked the Minister of Education if, in the light of further information forwarded to him by the hon. Member for Barking, he will reconsider his decision to postpone indefinitely the building of a junior school on the Thames View Estate, Barking, Essex; and if he will make a statement.

This project has not been postponed indefinitely. As I have explained to the hon. Member, it cannot be included in the 1962–63 programme, but I will consider it on its merits for inclusion in the 1963–65 programme if that should be the authority's wish.
