HC Deb 21 December 1961 vol 651 c188W
Mr. Wade

asked the Postmaster-General, in view of recent attacks on Post Office employees, whether he is satisfied with the security arrangements for their protection; and whether he will make a statement.

Miss Pike

This problem is a constant concern to my right hon. Friend who has introduced a number of improvements in our security arrangements in recent months and he believes our arrangements are good. But my right hon. Friend is always open to new ideas and will continue to keep a close watch on developments of all kinds.
