§ 6. Mr. A. Robertsasked the President of the Board of Trade what recent consideration has been given to the need for attracting new industry to Normanton and the West Riding of Yorkshire, in view of the closure of industry and increasing unemployment in the area.
§ Mr. ErrollThe rate of unemployment in Normanton and in the West Riding as a whole is below the national average and I am not aware of any impending closures likely to change this position.
