asked the Secretary of State for Air what results beneficial to recruitment into air training schools he expects to achieve as a result of the symposium held recently at the Royal Air Force College, Cranwell.

This conference was attended by a wide range of persons with experience in education and youth work. It enabled the Royal Air Force to present a firsthand account of their needs in the matter of pilots and navigators. The subsequent discussion was of great value in highlighting the factors considered to weigh most heavily with young men considering a flying career in the R.A.F.
