§ Mr. Dempseyasked the Minister of Labour if he will state the numbers and percentages of school leavers in Scotland in June, 1961, who entered employment in the following categories, namely, 9W apprenticeship to skilled occupations, employment leading to professional qualifications, employment involving other training, and general employment; and how many have been unable to find employment.

The most interesting point emerging from the total is the high proportion of boys getting apprenticeships (41.3 per cent.). The figure for the same period in 1960 was 36 per cent.
