§ Lord John HopePulverised fly ash is sold by the Central Electricity Generating Board to producers of bricks, lightweight aggregates and lightweight concrete, and also to building and civil engineering contractors for use as aggregate. These uses are increasing. Government Departments who place building and civil engineering contracts specify the use of materials made from fly ash when appropriate.
