asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what has been the cost so far, during the current fatstock year, of the fatstock subsidies: whether he will sub-divide this amount into the cost far pigs, cattle and sheep, respectively; and how these amounts compare with the same period for the previous year.

The cost of the fatstock subsidies in the United Kingdom from 1st April to the last Friday in July this year and during the corresponding period of last year was as follows:—
