Whether a decision has been taken about the period of Summer Time next year.
EARL BATHURSTIt is proposed to repeat next year the arrangement experimentally adopted for 1961, under which the statutory period of Summer Time was extended by three weeks in both spring and autumn. In due course the approval of Parliament will be sought for the draft of an Order in Council providing for Summer Time next year to run from 25th March to 28th October.
