HC Deb 19 April 1961 vol 638 c93W
6. Mr. Parker

asked the Minister of Transport if he is aware of the inconvenience caused to people travelling to and from the Ford Motor Company and other Thames-side industrial plants in Dagenham by the failure of the new electric trains from Southend to stop at Dagenham East station; and if he will refer this matter to the appropriate Transport Users' Consultative Committee for their consideration.

Mr. Hay

This is primarily a matter for the British Transport Commission. I understand that the Transport Users' Consultative Committee for London is in fact considering representations which have been made on the subject.
