Hurdasked the Minister of Transport if he can now confirm the line through Berkshire and Wiltshire proposed for the South Wales Motorway; and if the maps showing this motorway which have been available to the public at local authority offices for some time past are accurate and up to date.
§ Mr. MarplesConsulting engineers have now been appointed to complete the survey of possible routes between Maidenhead and the Chippenham area. Until their survey is completed, and this will take some time, I cannot say whether or not the route finally recommended will be that shown in the Berkshire and Wiltshire development plans.
