§ Mr. C. Ian Orr-EwingCoastal cargoes are usually conveyed between the Royal Dockyards in Admiralty-owned Royal Fleet Auxiliaries. It is exceptional for the Admiralty to use commercial vessels for coastwise shipments to or from H.M. Dockyards, but should this be necessary they would usually be carried in British vessels.
