asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food which police forces have applied to open quarantine kennels since 14th July, 1960; and which of these applications have been approved.

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food how many imported Alsatians have been detained at the quarantine kennels approved for use by the Metropolitan Police in each of the twenty-four calendar months up to the last convenient date; how many Alsatian or other puppies have been born in quarantine at these kennels; and on what dates they were born.

Ten Alsatians were placed in approved Metropolitan Police quarantine kennels in June, 1960. There were no others during the two years ending 31st March, 1961. No puppies were born.
