§ 53. Mr. Swinglerasked the Lord Privy Seal, in view of the German generals' memorandum on the supply of nuclear arms to Germany and the recent discovery by German scientists of the process known as gas centrifuge, if he will make an up-to-date statement on Her Majesty's Government's policy on the rearmament of Germany.
§ Mr. HeathGermany's rearmament under the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation is today a firm requirement of Western defence and has the full support of Her Majesty's Government.
