§ 61. Mr. Spriggsasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs what special arrangements he makes for local authorities which inherit subsidence from different causes, where such land has to be used for housing.
§ Mr. H. BrookeA special subsidy of up to £2 a house for 60 years is payable where the cost of building is substantially enhanced by measures taken for protection against mining subsidence. Costs incurred in making a site which has suffered from subsidence suitable for housing may also be taken into account in determining eligibility for expensive site subsidy.
