§ Mr. PowellYes. My right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Scotland and I are informed that poliomyelitis vaccine is now sufficiently plentiful to permit vaccination of those aged 40 and over who are not covered by the existing arrangements. From 1st January, 1961, family doctors will be able to vaccinate any such persons who, they consider, requires this protection.
