The Department of Scientific and Industrial Research will make a financial contribution, as in the case of many other such associations. The Association intend that its new laboratories should be sited at Leatherhead, Surrey, on land adjacent to existing 19W laboratories of the British Food Manufacturing Industries Research Association. This will enable certain facilities to be shared.
