Mr. Callaghanasked the Minister of Education on what grounds he has refused to include St. Illtyd's College, Cardiff, a Catholic boy's grammar school which has 620 pupils, in the building programme for the next two years; and if, in view of the urgent need for rebuilding, he will reverse his decision and give the necessary consent for building to start.
§ Mr. K. ThompsonThis proposal to replace an existing school has had to give way for the time being to more pressing needs. My right hon. Friend regrets that he is unable to add the project to the programmes for 1961–63.
