§ Dr. Broughtonasked the Minister of Transport when it is expected that the widening and resurfacing, in its entire length, of Scotchman Lane, Morley, will be completed.
§ Mr. MarplesWork was completed earlier this year on widening and resurfacing about half the length of this road. A scheme has been agreed in principle for improving a further 600 yards, and land acquisition is proceeding. I understand that the county council has no proposals for the remaining length of about 400 yards, where the road is built up and the present surface is satisfactory.
