§ 54. Mr. Turtonasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food how many of the 182,000 holdings in England and Wales that are of less than 30 acres are situated in river board areas.
Mr. VaneRiver and catchment board areas cover the whole of England and Wales except the County of London and a small adjoining area. All but a very small percentage of agricultural holdings are therefore included.
