§ 24. Mr. Loughlinasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs if he is satisfied with the present rate of council building of flats and flatlets; and if he will name the individual local authorities whose rate of building of such dwellings is at present below the rate aimed at by his Department.
§ Mr. H. BrookeLocal needs differ, and local authorities must decide for themselves what proportions of dwellings of different types they build. But I hope that all authorities will give high priority to the provision of flatlets and other forms of accommodation suitable for elderly people.
